Bhimashankar Temple in Maharashtra conducts its rituals according to a fixed time schedule. The temple remains open from 4:30 AM in the morning to 9:30 PM in the evening. As per Bhimashankar temple timings, darshan lasts for 10 hours in the morning and 5 hours in the evening.

During Nijarupa darshan, whose timings are from 5 AM to 5:30 AM, devotees can view the original shiva lingam.
The Abhishekam takes place during the normal temple timings. During this, devotees bring honey, sugar, curd as well as milk for the main diety and perform abhishekam themselves. As per Bhimashankar temple timings, Abhishekam does not take place between 12:00 PM and 12:30 PM. It also doesn’t take place inside the temple during Naivedya Pooja.
During Shringar darshan, the temple priests dress-up the idol of the presiding deity of the temple. They also decorate the idol with various types of jewellery. However, this darshan does not take place during the months of Shravan and Kartik.
During the Madhyan Aarti, the temple temporarily closes the darshan for about 45 minutes.
