The items that are required for this pooja are cow milk, Gangajal, sacred thread (Janeu), sugar, honey, ghee, curd, betel nuts, white cloth, datura, tulsi and bel leaves, sandalwood paste, bhang and rice. Some other important items that are required for this pooja are incense, flowers, lamps, sacred red and white thread, roli, fruits and sweets etc. Flowers that are to be used for the Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra are Swet pushp, Lal Vashtra, Kala til and Lal aasan. One should use Rudrakch Mala for chanting Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra. It is also advised to wear new clothes for the devotees participating in this pooja and carry all the necessary items accordingly.

So accordingly it can cost you minimum Rs.15,000. And depending upon the number of mantras that are recited the cost can exceed.
