The Chandrabhaga River is one of the holy rivers to the Hindus. It is on the auspicious occassion of Kartik Purnima that pilgrims in large numbers from different parts of the state and country visit here to take a dip in the holy waters of Chandrabhaga which nourishes the region.
The equivalent Pushkar Fair is another centre of attraction at the same time. Its a big fair with buffaloes, camels, cows, bullocks and horses on sale in large numbers.
Many cultural events are also organised by the Rajasthan Tourism.
