The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) will initiate programmes concentrating on drawing the attention of the major part of the Indian population that is the youth, the children, the couples and the working people, towards the the values and the culture of Lord Krishna.
As said by the Eastern India Communication Head of the society Ananga Mohan Das, the society will also distribute ‘Bhagvad Gita‘ and preach ‘value education’ based on the forthcoming Radhe Banke Bihari temple on Budh Marg, during the weekends among the small school children.
ISKCON is also looking forward to begin its first ‘Gaushala'(cowshed) at Biharsharif in Bihar. It will strech over a land of 20 acres and will provide shelter to 500 cows. The milk and its products derived from these cows will be used for making the ‘prasad’.
